Publish With us
At Isengrin Publishing, we believe that publishing is a collaborative process.
We work closely with a small number of authors each year, helping them develop and present their work to a professional standard through careful editorial guidance, thoughtful design and high-quality production.
Rather than operating an open submissions programme, we work with a small number of carefully selected projects each year that complement our catalogue and reflect our commitement to quality. This allows us to give every book—and every author—the attention it deserves.
We believe in transparent publishing. Once we've assessed your manuscript, we'll explain the work involved, recommend the services that would benefit your book, and agree everything with you before any costs are incurred.
We publish original fiction, poetry, biography and local history, curated editions, and selected academic works.

Our Process

Every project begins with a conversation.
If you believe your work may be a good fit for Isengrin, we'd be pleased to hear from you. Initially, we're looking for a brief introduction to your project, together with a short synopsis and an indication of its length and intended readership.
If we feel the project is one we can genuinely help develop, we'll discuss the most appropriate route forward. For some authors this may lead directly to publication with Isengrin. For others, the best first step may be an independent editorial assessment or consultation to help prepare the manuscript for publication. Every project is considered on its own merits.
Because each submission receives individual consideration, we are unable to provide editorial reports or manuscript assessments on unsolicited full manuscripts.
If you'd like to discuss a project, please get in touch using the contact page.
